By default, all our handlebars come with the Lightweight layup, designed to offer the lowest possible weight without compromising responsiveness or comfort. For those seeking a more aggressive and explosive ride, the Performance option is available, with increased stiffness and durability.

Whether you're looking for maximum lightness or otherworldly stiffness, there's a Layup version for you: the Ultralight laminate version is designed for those looking for the lightest components for their bikes, and the Performance version is for riders who ride fast and want maximum stiffness. It should be noted that the former is for riders weighing no more than 90 kg, while the latter is for riders who can weigh up to 120 kg.

SPIN REACTIONS
By increasing the horizontal section, we increase inertia, making the handlebar more rigid under the forces the rider exerts when turning on the ground. This translates into more direct and responsive control, providing greater steering precision.
VERTICAL ABSORPTION
By reducing the vertical section, we achieve greater absorption of vertical impacts and vibrations. This translates into less fatigue in the cyclist's hands and arms, allowing them to maintain a high downhill pace for longer.

We use internal bladders specifically designed for each handlebar, so the carbon fibers compact perfectly against the mold, preventing the formation of wrinkles and resin pools. This ensures a smooth and consistent structure throughout the entire geometry.
CONSTRUCTION WITH INTERNAL BLADS OF SELF DEVELOPMENT
Starting at 310g, the Performance Laminate has a weight limit of up to 130kg. Developed for competitive cyclists who prioritize stiffness above all else, to harness every last watt of power and convert it into speed. Take sprinting to the next level.

Wässat is 100% compatible with all standard 31.8mm diameter stems on the market.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ULTRALIGHT LAMINATE VERSION AND THE PERFORMANCE VERSION?
The Ultra-Lightweight laminate is designed for cyclists whose priority is the lightest components, with a total weight limit of 90 kg.
The Performance layup is for cyclists seeking maximum stiffness and responsiveness at a low weight. The rider weight limit in this case is up to 120 kg.
CAN YOU CUT MY WÄSSAT TO THE SIZE I WANT?
Of course, you can customize the width of your Wässat handlebars to your liking, from 680 mm to 800 mm. Just let us know when you configure your handlebars!
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A GLOSSY AND A MATTE FINISH?
Both options only determine the finish of the lacquer on the handlebar's top layer. A gloss finish is completely smooth and creates very defined light reflections, while a matte finish is characterized by more texture, which makes the reflections on the handlebar much more diffused.
IS IT TRUE THAT IT'S THE LIGHTEST XC HANDLEBAR AVAILABLE?
Yes, in the Ultra-Lightweight laminated version we have managed to manufacture the lightest handlebar with a weight of 99g using the same manufacturing processes and materials as its brother the Pröpus.
