POLLUX has been developed with one purpose: to get you down faster.
Its one-piece carbon body is engineered for maximum strength, precision, and control, thanks to its special design for mounting directly on your double-crown fork. The geometry has been optimized to distribute weight evenly and achieve instant responsiveness , taking the bike exactly where you want it in a matter of thousandths of a second with an unparalleled aesthetic.
It incorporates the GMN section , developed to maximize rigidity in the area that provides handlebar control , while its vertical flex is designed to absorb vibrations, allowing you to make the longest and most broken descents at maximum speed without your hands and upper body suffering.
Each handlebar is handcrafted in our Barcelona workshop using proprietary technology and high-performance carbon fiber . The result is a unique, exclusive, and limited-production piece.
Optimized geometry for Downhill :
Upsweep: 5°, Backsweep: 7°
While the products we create are worthy of a display case, they're meant to be enjoyed by you as you ride and push your limits, and falls are part of the game.
In this situation, if you damage a Gemini component, don't worry and send us an email to info@ridegemini.com with:

Designed to take your downhill bike control to the next level, Pollux is the result of many hours of design and engineering to create a maximum strength and minimum weight piece specifically for downhill.
Pollux has been designed from the ground up to be manufactured in carbon and to get the most out of this material, aided by the most advanced calculation software and applying a simple and functional design, which is why it is unlike anything you've seen before.
Engineering work has focused on simplifying and improving stress distribution, reducing the areas where stress peaks accumulate and allowing for increased strength with less material.
By eliminating the connection between the stem and handlebars, the tensions generated by the preloads generated during assembly are eliminated, preventing the handlebar from slipping. The areas subject to compression, which deform the part and cause delamination of the fiber layers, reducing resistance, are also eliminated.
The continuity of the material between the stem and the handlebar facilitates the distribution of stresses over a larger area, so that they flow along the handlebar, eliminating areas with high accumulations and thus increasing the final strength.
Circular sections behave the same in all directions, which is why we developed the GMN section with two basic purposes: to reduce hand fatigue due to vibrations and forces, and to increase reactivity and control when turning.
By reducing the vertical section we achieve greater absorption of vertical impacts and vibrations, this translates into less fatigue in the hands and being able to maintain a high rate of descent, aluminum bar
By increasing the horizontal section, we manage to increase the rigidity of the handlebar against the forces exerted by the pilot to turn, this translates into more direct and reactive steering control. Carbon bar
POLLUX has a geometry designed to give you maximum control and comfort, supporting your body in a perfect natural position and reducing fatigue on the longest and toughest descents.
Pollux is specifically designed to be mounted on bikes with steering angles between 62º and 64º. The entire geometry is designed to work in that position and give you greater control and absorption.
The unibody design allows the cockpit to be mounted directly on the triple clamp, achieving a very low position. To achieve this, we have provided a housing for the steering cap, so you can adjust the geometry of your bike by raising or lowering the triple clamp without having to cut the head tube as you would have to do with a conventional handlebar.
POLLUX is available in different stem lengths so you can choose the position that best suits your style and the geometry of your bike, with lengths of 20, 30, 40 and 50 mm.
It could only be made with the best intermediate modulus carbon fiber currently available on the market, MITSUBISHI MR70, combined with an optimized layout for greater impact resistance and a manufacturing process specifically developed to produce top-quality parts.
Not all carbon fibers are created equal, which is why we've chosen the strongest carbon fiber with an intermediate modulus. Mitsubishi MR70 is a cutting-edge, high-end carbon fiber developed for the highest demands of the aerospace industry. This is the best way to ensure the handlebar's best performance and increase strength while reducing weight.
What you don't see is as important as what you do, which is why we've created a custom-made bladder for each handlebar size. This allows us to perfectly adapt to its shape and achieve perfect fiber compaction, preventing the formation of wrinkles and resin pools.
The properties of the material are very important, but so is the construction structure of the pieces, which is why we use a "sandwich" structure, using woven fiber in the outer and inner layers to increase resistance to delamination due to impacts, and a whole core of UD fiber that guarantees us to obtain the best mechanical and structural properties of the fiber.
The best material for contact with carbon fiber is titanium. Thanks to its chemical properties, it behaves like a noble material, preventing any type of galvanic corrosion. That's why we chose it, along with its balanced mechanical properties and weight, for all the hardware.
Pollux is a piece of engineering of the highest quality and durability. It has been lab-tested to withstand the most abusive loads the industry applies to downhill handlebars, with forces far exceeding those required by the ISO standard. That's why we went to Whistler to validate it in the field.
